Joseph Couch is the Co-Founder & CTO of Othelia. Designed to enable the next generation of digital storytelling, Othelia allows traditional storytelling skills and paradigms to innovate in emerging digital formats in ways never before possible. Joseph’s mission is to keep creatives at the helm of new technologies and make tools they love to use. Othelia’s purpose is to keep the magic of the story alive in this new intelligent technology era.

Joseph advises traditional studios and production companies on complex story world design and works with new media and gaming companies on interactive narrative.He has worked for global management consulting firms helping blue-chip companies transition to Digital 2.0. As a virtual reality engineer, Joseph wrote a calibration algorithm for the (then) world’s largest panoramic (VR) camera. As a theatre director, Joseph was one of the youngest directors to work for the Sydney Theatre Company and Belvoir St Theatre.
